Arterra is a sophisticated take on "the art of real estate", with a play on our founder’s initials - A.R.T. - and "terra" (land) being a subtle nod to real estate, her main passion.

Alanna is a licensed property manager and business owner with an MBA, and over 10 years experience in the real estate and marketing industries.

She started her career in real estate law marketing and admin, then worked for four years as a commercial real estate appraiser with a focus on wineries, vineyards, restaurants, retail and multifamily residential before concentrating on hotels and REIT portfolio management.

In 2021-2024, along with two business partners, she built a successful short term rental property management company with a portfolio of 40 properties, with a total assessed value of $38,000,000 in assets under management, facilitating over $100,000/month in rent transactions.

Unfortunately in spring 2024, the BC government put a widespread ban on the majority of short term rentals in Kelowna, wiping out nearly their entire portfolio overnight - yikes!

Thankfully there was a silver lining, and the timing of this huge rule change coincided with the birth of her first child, so she choose to step away and take a year off to focus on family.

She’s once again found her stride in property rental management, and is now working under the Vantage West Property Management brokerage.

Alanna is passionate about managing and marketing real estate in ways that attract ideal investors owners, tenants and guests. She strives to provide outstanding guest experiences while maximizing owner return on investment and minimizing repair and maintenance costs.
